A Weekend with Me Droogs
We met up after work on a Friday and headed to Ken’s grandma’s vacant house in Kissimmee, 8 hours away. After midnight when we arrived in the area, Ken was reading the directions his grandma had written: “take the first co. road”. He was reading it as “take the first Coe Road”. After making several backtracks looking “Coe Road” and finding none, one of us looked at the note and realized that grandma had meant “county”. We went directly to the house.
Wade Giving Me a Break
It was always nice getting to stretch out in the back and just look at the scenery. Wade was a smooth driver.
Spaceship Earth
We spent the entire next day at the park, visited every country and had a beer at several of them.
I would end up visiting Epcot two more times: a convention in 1996, and a family trip in 2001.
