Southeast Area Group Ride

“Sabmag” refers to the Honda Sabre / Magna / Interceptor line of bikes that shared 90 degree V4 engines. There was a “mailing list” that one could subscribe to and then post to for sharing news and maintenance tips, gossip, etc.

About twice a year, the “Sabmaggots” in the southeast would meet and ride for a few days.

Above is a snapshot of the some of the group that met at the Blue Ridge Motorcycle Campground in Canton, NC in June 1996.

During the day we’d ride the nearby scenic routes, during the evening we’d sit around the fire swapping stories.
